Brooklyn-bred artist Wordsworth is the epitome of a true Hip Hop wordsmith. In addition to appearing on a multitude of other artists’ albums, such as BlackStar, A Tribe Called Quest: Love Movement, The Lyricist Lounge vols. 1 and 2; he co-created, starred in, co-wrote and produced MTV’s groundbreaking sketch comedy series The Lyricist Lounge Show.
Since then has released his critically acclaimed solo album titled “Mirror Music” and featured work in video games such as Saints Row to movie soundtracks such The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, Hurricane Season, and television shows such as VH1 Basketball Wives and Heroes. Some of his recent works include The Dino 5, a children’s Hip Hop album produced by legendary producer Prince Paul. In the midst of that releasing an album called The Show, with his supergroup EMC which consist of members Stricklin, Punchline and Masta Ace.
Wordsworth Sophomore Lp called “The Photo Album,” is scheduled to be released June 12th. The Photo album combines Wordsworth signature lyrical delivery with todays rising stars in production such as Apollo Brown, Hezekiah, The Are, Skeematics, Frequency, Style Misia, Erv Ford, Belief, Dave Notti, Archbishop, 13, Ill Poetic, and Tzarism.
Every song is a picture of a period in his life ranging from songs such as “Coloring Book,” “Destiny,” “Big Dreamer” and the undeniably hot single “Joy and Pain ” produced by Apollo Brown. The Photo Album gives a candid and vivid picture of Wordsworth’s perspective of his life’s journey. Special guest appearances by Torae, Masta Ace, Punchline, Meleni Smith, D.V. Alias Khryst, Range Da Messenger, Adanita Ross, J Black, and Princess J add to the albums landscape of brilliance. The Photo Album will provide a clear picture through the lens of Wordsworth’s mind.
